The So Call Social of 2011
A group of Southern California classmates gathered for their first ever So Cal Social on July 9th. Everyone who attended did so because they felt such a kinship after experiencing the 50th reunion last year. On this occasion, classmates as far as Phoenix, AZ to the east and Sebastopol, CA to the north were contacted and while this year was not amenable to them, most said they would want to participate in future years. This year’s Social was held at the home of Denny and Donna Potts in South Pasadena, CA. One of the things that made such an impression on me is how many classmates that I only knew slightly remembered so many things as I did during our school years at East High. It was nice to meet old friends as well make new friends. As always, the stories and memories flowed endlessly throughout the evening. What a great time we all had.
